About the Deanship

The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the University of Jeddah was established concurrently with the founding of the university. It is one of the core deanships that has been operating since the university’s inception in 1435 AH (2014 AD). The Deanship serves as the main link between the university and its students, overseeing all admission and academic registration processes — from the time students are admitted to the university until their graduation.

Agency Tasks
  • Creating and developing academic programs and linking them to the strategic vision, the goals of the national transformation programs, and the needs of the labor market.
  • Work to find a seat at the university for every student who meets the admission requirements.
  • Make sure to attract the best male and female students to the university from high school graduates.
  • Make an effort to educate the student about the study and examination regulations and systems through various means inside and outside the university.
  • Documenting the student's academic records and working on updating them electronically.
  • Working on developing and adapting technology in the deanship so that the student can follow up and conduct his academic affairs from anywhere he wants and at any time.
  • Work to document and finalize the student's graduation procedures easily and easily within the period specified in the university calendar.
