The university does not accept any high school diploma that is more than five years old, i.e. the university accepts certificates for two years: 1439/1440 AH and beyond.
The university does not accept any student accepted at another university. The acceptance of any student whose acceptance in any other educational institution will be canceled.
No, no specialization has been added that allows remote study.
It means that applying for admission is done only once at the beginning of the academic year, and there will be no period to open new applications for admission to Saudi universities and colleges at the beginning of the second semester.
There are requirements that must be met by male and female students who are eligible to apply in the national platform for unified admission, and they are as follows:
1- Nationality requirements:
- The applicant must be of Saudi nationality.
- Or he must be the son of a Saudi female citizen.
- Or hold a civil registration number starting with (1).
- Or she must be the wife of a citizen and have Saudi children.
2- Academic qualification requirements:
The applicant must be a student in the third grade of secondary school, and registered in the Noor system (he can fill in his desires, but he is not entitled to final application until after obtaining the high school certificate).
This includes:
1. Public school students.
2. Private school students.
3. International school students.
4. Students of scientific institutes.
5. Students of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
- It is permissible to apply for those who obtained a high school diploma in previous years, noting that some specializations require the applicant to be a recent graduate.
- The applicant must have taken the ‘abilities’ and ‘achievement’ tests.
Some specializations may require the applicant not to have a university qualification (bachelor's degree or diploma).
3- Health fitness requirements:
Some specializations require the applicant to be medically fit.
4- Work conditions:
If one of the applicants is an employee, he must attach proof that his employer has no objection to his enrollment in university studies.
The equivalence of certificates issued from outside the Kingdom is carried out according to the following rules:
- The certificate must meet the conditions for equivalency.
- The school must be accredited by the official authority concerned with education in the country of issuance.
- The high school diploma must be recognized in its country and eligible for enrollment in higher education.
- The academic sequence must be regular and clear, with documentation of success for previous grades.
- The documents must be original and certified by the following authorities
- The Ministry of Education or the competent authority for education in the country of issuance.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its representative in that country.
- The Saudi embassy or cultural attaché, if any.
- An official translation of any document not issued in Arabic or English.
- The documents must be free of alteration or abrasion, and the name must be identical in all official documents.
Equalization steps:
1. Documents are submitted to the Education Department in the region or governorate to be uploaded electronically.
2. The Ministry of Education will review and issue the equivalency document, then return it to the Education Department for delivery to the beneficiary.
3. In the case of transfer classes, the student will be placed directly in the appropriate class according to the equivalency decision.
After completing the equivalency, a technical support ticket must be created through the Qibl platform, and the application must be completed by passing the National Center for Measurement (Qiyas) tests (abilities and achievement).
1- The student must be of Saudi nationality or from a Saudi mother or a Saudi mother.
2- The student must be studying at a recognized public university, private and private universities are not accepted, and transfer from a diploma to a bachelor's degree is not accepted.
3- Students transferred from outside the Kingdom must approve the transcript and all documents from the Saudi Embassy.
4- The student must not be dismissed or interrupted from his university for any reason whatsoever, and if it turns out after his acceptance otherwise, his transfer is considered null and void, and he must bring what clarifies any interruption in the statement.
5-That the transfer is for one time only, meaning that the student has no right to transfer again within the university after accepting his transfer.
6- To fulfill the conditions of the college he wishes to transfer to.
7- He must not have studied at his university before transferring more than half of the graduation requirements (50%) of the student's study plan.
8- It is required for the equivalence of subjects for the transfer student that the courses must be at least a good grade (C) and that the number of hours in the subjects required for equivalence corresponds and is identical to the content of the subject.
9 - The transfer must be to the same major transferred from the previous university, and he must have studied at least one semester in the major.
1- Studying at least 32 hours.
2- The student's cumulative GPA must not be less than 3 out of 5 or 2.40 out of 4 (and if it is a year system, not less than 75).
3- The transfer student must pass the subjects that are not equivalent within three consecutive semesters with a cumulative GPA of at least 2 out of 5. The registration of the student who does not achieve the criteria and conditions of the specialization to which he is transferred will be folded.
4- To be full-time to study regularly and bring the approval of the employer in case he is an employee.
* Dear student, achieving the general and special conditions does not mean accepting the transfer request, but it guarantees you entry and competition for the seats allocated to the colleges, which means that the acceptance of the transfer is a preference for specializations.
* In case the student was studied in more than one university before transferring to Jeddah University, the last academic record from the last university is approved, and the courses studied and equated in it, and the student must submit the originals of the academic records of the two universities.
